Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Hi @creative_writer

How are you going today?

Re: My special place

@Snowie, I’ve had a pretty easy going day, today is public holiday in Vic. I haven’t been very productive and got little done for uni, but I think I was exhausted. My schedule has meant I’ve been on the forums less often, uni can be full on, I’m doing full time. I miss you all, but sometimes I can’t bring myself to say anything, my introvert batteries die quicker. Have you been up to much?

Re: My special place

I'm in Vic too @creative_writer so has been a quiet day here too.

Doing uni full time must keep you very busy hon.

I haven't been doing much. I am trying to get out of the house more but it is hard to do so.

I will probably just watch the footy tomorrow. Not much else on.

Re: My special place

@Snowie, yeah, it does keep me occupied, and it requires me to do a lot of group work, my social batteries are smaller than most people’s. But I think sometimes I do need to learn to take care of myself better, I’ve forgotten to eat a few times (appetite has not returned even though I no longer have the flu), and that was not good. I’m grateful migraines have been better, but still get them on a milder level, and obviously chronic fatigue comes into it too.

I hope you enjoy watching the footy. Are you into sports?

Re: My special place

@creative_writer I like my own company more then anyone else's. I don't do well in group situations, never have.

We will occasionally go to the footy to watch. Did a lot of dancing growing up, that took up much of my time. Still go and help out with that. Of course we are into skiing in the winter months.

Did you play anything growing up?

Hi @GezzaP

How has your day been?

Re: My special place

@Snowie, I was never really a sporty kid. I had swimming lessons for a while, that’s about it.

Hi @GezzaP, what have you been up to today?

Re: My special place

@creative_writer I went to the local pub for lunch. I was tempted to ask a friend for a smoke but resisted the urge. So 3 days without a smoke. Very pleased with my efforts. What did you do today?

Re: My special place

3 days and counting @GezzaP well done, you should be really proud of yourself.
