Nice to meet you! I don't think I've seen you around before. I think you did a positive thing to get out and have lunch. I'm sorry it didn't work out though. Do you have any other things you usually do to distract yourself and take your mind away from how low you're feeling?

Yes I’m quite new. @hanami Hi to you. I thought it would be good to get out for a little while, but unfortunately I only got to talk to one person. Expected a message from my psych re an appointment tomorrow. When I’m low I try to distract myself with facebook and computer games on my phone. Will text my sister in a little while too. Frustrated with feeling low. Feel helpless and hopeless.

It can be really frustrating to sit with feelings of depression @GezzaP . Sometimes they feel like they will never end. I'm sorry that's happening for you. My main issue has always been anxiety. Worrying about the future rather than sitting with feelings of sadness. Though one particular bout of anxiety lasted so long it made me depressed. I'm glad you have so many other people supporting you on here. It's a lovely community.

@hanami I have bipolar 1 and suffer from anxiety too so I understand that and that’s how this depressive episode started. I can’t take strong AD as they make me manic. Thanks for your support. I’m afraid I feel terrible today. Sorry for being so negative. Take care. And yes this forum helps a bit.

Saw psych again today. She had a cancellation so got in. I keep making promises I don't keep. Said she would ring pdoc if needed. Don't really want that. I know what pdoc would suggest and I'm not doing that.

So another day full of prn and wanting it to be over with.
