Something’s not right

Life

Life

My lil boy is not well and it's times like this that I realise how alone we are. If I have to take him into the er I need to get my little girl up as well and try to manage one sleepy child and one sick child. Then the hospital gets grumpy because you can't have another child there but they can't make me leave because my lil boy has special needs and wouldn't let me go without him anyway . It's so hard to know what to do and how to manage everything on my own. And then there is so much else happening I don't feel safe to open the door and go out in the dark. This kind of living and hiding is so unfair on the kids. When is it ever going to get easier?!?

Hi dear @Former-Member,

My thoughts and well wishes are with you today, i know by now the two short humans are running a-muck so i am thinking of all the wrapping papper that is everywhere 😄

Please make sure you are safe today, keep yourself occupied so you don't focus too much on the worst case scenarios, and try to have a nice day.

Merry Christmas

Jacques

Hi @Former-Member

Enjoy the movie .. glad kids are out for a bit. I did my carol singing from 9-1 last night and it was beautiful with double bass small orchestra and extra good oboist. We were all exhausted after as usual .. dont know why we look forward to it but we do. It was a physical ordeal as we have to wear pure wool choir gowns that are supposed to breath but are better at insulating.

A lady gave me a lift home which was great or I would have been stuck with the teenagers on the night rider bus.

Son got me up eating from the icecream container ... saying it was my job to stop him from having bad manners and I had to get out of bed. Moving away as I reached for him. Made tiger prawn entree/breakfast. Which met with apporval .. but he wanted more ... thats what it was supposed to be ... an appetiser!

Anyway thats us. Best wishes to you and kids.
