Something’s not right

Sanity is leaving me.

Sanity is leaving me.

Hi, what's the point of writing. There's nothing anyone can do. Don't care anymore.

Re: Sanity is leaving me.

There's always a point to writing here @Lemonjuice. We can help by listening and offering support to you as an online community. We do care about what happens to you. Has something happened this morning to make you feel this way, or has an alter come out which is troubling you?

Sitting here with you @Lemonjuice

Re: Sanity is leaving me.

Alter is trying to come out and write some awful things. Wants me to quit therapy and abuse my therapist to send him away.

I tried to take my car once more to a different mechanic incase he turned a blind eye to its faults to get rego fixed but no. So I decided to leave my car in the driveway and get a new battery for my nephews car because that doesn't need rego till May. Just put in the new battery only to realize it needs brakes and tyres. So again I have no car. Now I have wasted $175 for the battery and have to come up with what, $500 to fix the brakes. I could have fixed the muffler of my car and registered my car. Bank wants $500. Electricity $1300. House phone and my mobile $300. Water $200. Council $300. Mum's and my pension $1500 for the fortnight. No savings.

Now I have talked about it. The bills are still there and I am still a failure.

Meanwhile the alter is laughing cause they think they are winning cause I am struggling. All I hear is the 'bitch is going to die'. I'm not suiciding but I wish I could. So very tired of this.

Oh @Lemonjuice that is so awful, unplanned and unexpected expences are so detrimental to how people cope. I am really feeling for you. On top of all that your alters are coming through and threatening you. Like @Queenie has said, the forums are still here for you, during times when you need them and when you are in control…

Please keep writing on this forum, especially if you're struggling with wanting to give up when you're so tired.

Re: Sanity is leaving me.

@Lemonjuice I am so sorry you are feeling this way. I'm not going to be a great deal of help I'm afraid, 'cos I'm not travelling so well lately either.

May I say that I don't see failure in anything you have written. Most of the problem elements are not your actions, like the finances and your mothers spending, and she's not supporting you in your endeavours to keep things together. It's not fair.

Please keep writing here.

Re: Sanity is leaving me.

@Former-Member I'm sorry to read that you are also struggling. Life just sucks sometimes.

I am feeling a little better. After changing the battery myself, (yeah me!) I took the car to have one of the signal lights changed and tomorrow, I'm going to change it's oil. The tyres aren't as bad as I thought and the brakes will just have to wait for next pension day. Just had a shower and sitting on the couch drinking some iced tea to get some hydration back in me. I'm looking at the bills and I am going to spread them out. The council bill can wait till mid March. Water till the end of the month. The house phone has to be paid but my mobile can wait till next March. That leaves the electricity and bank bills. I am going to need help with talking with the electricity people...they obviously are trying to steal from us. I just don't get their accounts and I start to dissociate from anxiety. I think Lifeline has financial people...will check them out. Will also talk to Centrelink to get an advance to pay the bank.

I have to stop with reacting to difficult situations with suicide as an option.

Sorry for the detailed post. I was thinking things out by writing it out.
