my son just started prep and its suppose to be a good day today and i feel proud of him but this chick today made me feel infurior by telling me im a lowlife because i talk to someone who has been like a sister to me in some hard time in my life. she told her son so mine could hear that he cant play with my boy because he is better then him now im going haywire with anxiety and fretting that this kid is going to start telling other kids that they shouldnt play with my son he is in prep and i dont want him to hate it because this mother is using her kid to fight her battles
Hi @NameUnknown. I read your post and felt sad imagining myself and one of mine going through that. I think of when my kids have started prep, and how much of big time it was emotionally (for my littles and myself). I definitely would not have wanted something like that to happen 😞
How was your son after the comment and how was his day?
I hope today is a better day for you and that you were able to find something that helped you feel more settled last night.

Hi @NameUnknown , that is an awful start to the day and so sad to hear how judgemental people can be. Im so glad that he had a great day. Hopefully at school and in his classroom there will be an emphasis on helping all kids to feel like they belong and treat each other fairly. If you find anything else happening I would tell his teacher so that they can be aware and look out for any problems early on to help ni p it in the bud. When i have had similar issues in my class I have worked really hard with the children to say that at school we all get along, work together and be kind no matter what else.. and i tell parents the same, that outside school issues stay outside as every child is equal... good luck. <br>
