DID dissociation. 'triggering maybe'

DID dissociation. 'triggering maybe'

Hi again, I don't think I have said this but there's a possibility that I might have DID. I don't tell anyone; I admit to having CPTSD but I am not convinced about DID and it's such an embarrassing disorder that I rarely talk about it. Anyways, I don't want to suicide but there's a part that's been telling me that I have to...they have a date and plan but I'm refusing to going through with it. They hate me and want me dead. I get violent images when they are around. I don't think I will be acting on it but sometimes, I get so exhausted and get down myself and I feel that that part is right and I agree to go through with it and something good happens and it might raise my mood and I don't want to go through with it. I don't know what to do to make it stop. Is anyone else going through something like this? What do you do?

Hi @Lemonjuice

I worked with someone with DID, it really helped them to talk with me and others in their care team. It may really help to talk with your counsellors.

I only have a counsellor once a week for an hour...I can't complain since it's more than most people get these days. He's the only one I talk to about what's really happening with me. Coming here is the only other time I talk about this stuff and that's only because I'm anonymous.
