Re: rough time

@outlander You know outlander I think you are improving ... I cannot remember you talking like this with so much determinism (is that a word? ... if not it is now lol). Just get yourself totally up and running and then worry about study. I think getting your sleep should be a priority really. To study you really need a decent night sleep.

Re: rough time

@Former-Member one of my courses im interested in starts in february as well and they offer payment plans and i could almost pay for half of it now in full. i just dont know how i could handle it mentally. i like going out on my own too but i guess im young and stupid so need something to feed that part of me too.

i have no idea where to go or what to do. even if i planned a day away i dont know what id be doing.

Re: rough time

@outlander what about a gym class ... all womens ... or yoga. My old psychiatrist suggested pottery.... what am I going to do with a whole heap of pots ... walking groups are operating you can find them on the internet pretty easily.

Re: rough time

@outlanderyou are doing the best you can under some crappy circumstances, we all are.

But you are letting it out here which is good, a step forward. Keep letting it out. Rant, rave, scream whatever you want.

Re: rough time

there will be a downfall @Bunniekins its the pattern i have. i just get so sick of everything all the time. sometimes it comes out in the form of wanting to end it all, not this time this one is like the thinking cap form. it wont last long, it never does.

i do want to get my sleep organised to start with, i only need a few hrs a night to function but im always tired anyway so makes not a lot of difference

Re: rough time

So i read a bit more of what you said @outlander
And i was wondering if you ever considered correspondence study? You seemed to be interested in nursing if i remember well?
You could potentially move out of your current residence to study too if you wanted. I think if you get sick of being stuck at home caring for your sisters and pop thats perhaps an indication that you are more capable of fednding for yourself than you think? Plus you can get consideration for studying as i did going through uni.

Maybe have a sit down and think about where you could be or what you see yourself doing in the future. Its a hard ask i know, but i honestly think you can do it because you have tennacity to out up with crap.

In terms of getting out and about, routine is key to that. Maybe try walking down at the beach when you can? I think you said you did that in the past.
Could you maybe look for a new job somewhere near your area or just to travel a bit to get there?

I feel like i am prodding a lot here so feel free to tell me to get lost lol. But i guess the key thing is that things dont need to stay the way they are for longer than needed.
My plan for this year is to make it count. So i have applied for stuff and basically tried to get more money as well doing whatever i find. The good thing is that we are young and have time as well.

Anyway i think i might start rambbling soon. I empathise with you about friends too. I have ditched a lot of people from my past (due to the church scenario and the shitty people i knew)
Its very hard to do this post school i think.

Re: rough time

@Former-Member @outlander@Former-Member I know where Li1 is coming from I am not too keen on people either I prefer animals to be honest so I could easily be a hermit. Aparently there was an ancient island near Ireland which was inhabited by a hermit and a warren of giant black rabbits. It has suck now. That is my useless information for today.
