Re: rough time

@outlander - my case manager has just been to visit me at home, mostly for a safety check. He also called me this morning. This is the plan for the next few days. But it looks like a inpatient admission is imminent in the next few days for a short stay, as my sa/si risk continues to be high.

I wish it would just leave me alone, I really do. I don't want any part of it anymore. I'm super scared that I might do something that where there is no chance of recovery. I now know I don't really want that. I just don't want to be in the position I'm in. Day after day.

There's just so much hurt, pain, indesiciveness, stress, confusion and fear about a future I have no control over at this point. I know you and @Snowie feel a similar thing. I understand I probably should let go of these fears and let things unfold in their own time, but I need some level of control at least of the direction my future is travelling in. Ahh, its so confusing.

I think I'm probably rambling a little at the moment, so neither of you need to feel obliged to answer this post.

Re: rough time

@Sans911We do need a level of control and when we don't have that control or feel like we have lost it, then that is a time when we can go into crisis mode. My psych was talking to me today about my risk level when I feel I loose that control.

It was taken away from us at such a young age, so to have control over our thoughts, feelings, actions is a huge thing.

I am glad your case manager is checking in on you. Perhaps an inpatient admission might give you a bit of a reset. Give you clearer days.

Re: rough time

Hearing you @Sans911 i can hear all your pain and fears in your words. I really just want to come and give you a big lil sis hug.
You might hate me after i say this but maybe a short inpatient stay would be a good reset. A chance to talk to people in there ( psychs, nurses etc) (and even other patients if your comfortable in doing so)and see if they can help you with some ideas too.
Im hoping that doesnt sound like im pushing thise fears aside. Im sorry if it is im just worried about you and your wellbeing and that includes your safety too. Also i did pick up thr other day that you think your a hipocrite because of your thoughts yet your helping people in the same boat. It doesnt make you a hipocrite and it doesnt make you a fake or anything else you might be thinking about yourself. Your struggling and while its horrble it is ok to not be ok. Means you are human.
