@Snowie@Sans911and all....
the phone call from the foundation wasnt very long. gave abreif history of hospital, no family supports, my current support team and my experience with the community mh team. shes sending me through a few links that might help to start with. she has said to ask my gp to try and refer me to someone who does dbt (a link shes sending me is a directory for psychs specifically within my area and surrounds). after i told her that i rang the mh team but because i had supports even though they arent very supportive they couldnt help me- bpd lady said thats ridiculous. she said im not having much luck am i and i said no. i also said to her about my work as she suggested ndis but my payments are the diability ones. she said my situation is abit tricky because of my work. she and i both know if things got to bad what the outcomes of that would be.
so atm im waiting on her to send me the links through probably tomorrow as she didnt send them today. i think ive covered it all for that part anyway.

@outlandersounds like you spoke to someone who could hear how hard it has been for you.
Hopefully the links she sends to you can help. It would be great of you could find a psych trained in DBT to do that for you.
Fingers and toes crossed sweetie ![]()

thanks @MDT ive got a workbook on dbt but its not quite the same as being taught the skills. some of the concepts in the book are hard plus ill be able to talk about whats bothering me and get help that way too. ki-ll 2 birds with one stone so to speak (hate that metaphor but cant think of any other) and yes there is a thread but its not currently active. hope it all helps for you too.
thanks @Snowie r u ok to chat though, i dont want to put anything on you
