i use to work as a farmhand @Bella1978 but was let go a few months ago(couldnt realy handle all the work anyway) however some clients i had still like me to take care of their horses on occassion and do holiday care. i had arranged with 3 of them that i would look after their horses during the school holidays when they need - a few days here and there but it was abit extra cash in hand and would only take me about 2-3 hrs so was out of the house. i had it oragnised a little while ago as obviousl people need to book hotels etc when they go away and now my hand injury. ive managed to get a week off next week from the holiday care stuff but will still have pop and siblings as always as well as normal commitments for appts, and the likes.

yeh the clients i have are pretty easy going and really they dont need me much its always pre-arranged like the shcool holidays. all up over the 2 weeks theres only about 5 days work (and only about 2 hrs duration of an arvo) which is ok and then it dies down again and im lucky to even feed one horse a week (not including my own) so that parts ok. i stopped my farmhand work as i was fixing fences, and ordering feeds and being in charge of that as well as basically being part boss of the property so if anyone had any dramas they would come to me as well ans well as doing feeding as well- i was let go form that job because i was often sick or couldnt keep up with the work- originally that work was suppose to be like what im doing now and just feeing some horses not the whole thing! i my hands just come at a really bad time and it limiting what i do with the kids too. i cant even hold an empty lightweight plastic cup atm let alone much else. @Bella1978
yep on the carers through centrelink- whys that? im not offended just curious..
