Re: rough time

afternoon @Sans911 going back to earlier on... i had to edit it out as i wasnt feeling all that comfortable with it. this is the part i took out last night.. and your always with me, you dont have to apologise at all! you were having a rough time too (and even if you werent thats quite fine too )

Took a look at bloods again and everything is fine including my thyroid and everything else. So I dont have a stomach ulcer. She wants to do another fasting blood glucose test if im still in the pre-diabetes range after all these changes to lifestyle. I brought up the ovaries issues and she wants to perform an internal exam as itll give a clear picture and confirm/not. She said my symptoms and hormones out of whack were classic symptoms of the pcos but with these latest test results she wants to redo the tests as itll confirm/ or not if it is. she still thinks i show quite alot of the symptoms and I am very sure she already diagnosed it as I was extemely upset about it but apparently mis heard/misjudged what she was saying except with the pre-diabetes. She didnt want to focus on the pcos as I had ten thousand other tests being performed and was in high stress so it was all linked in together. Apparently she said 'you might have pcos but its hard to tell under so much stress and made a note to relook at a later date after monitoring it (was studying as well at the time so more stress)

when you online next id like to hear how your walk went, how your day was and what happened yesterday please

@bella I walk out in pjs all the time, I take my sisters to school in them most days too so dont worry too much. Im glad the relaxation music helped you quite a lot too. I hope your more calmer now after your sleep...

I managed to stay there for the entire time, what wasnt fun was a vomiting kid and a weak stomach for that sort of thing. I handled it a lot better than I thought. I kept having headspins from my headache and just tired. Good work on ringing up and making appts. Its unfortunate we are so stubborn! And sometimes need a scare to get the help we need. I really hope everything goes well and good your taking your meds now too. Thats sounds horirble with the cracking sound. Please be careful ok

@Snowie you dont have to apologise either- you were out having fun that is much rather where Id love you to be! I seen you post on your thread so will take a better read after here.

@Former-Member I seem to doubt if I make sense or not but seem to. Its ok to show abit of anger though I wasnt really getting that vibe from your post. Yes they have a lot of power over patients but I guess we have to trust in them at least a little bit to get some benefits. After today I will never see an old dr again- he has skrewed both my foot and neck and the gp I seen today is shocked. She works in a hospital too.

The medications ive started on a really low dose we are trialing it for 4 weeks and if it hasnt helped my sleep but if it doesnt work then im going back off it again. My regular gp thinks its caused by my mental health conditions however after today this other gp doesnt seem to think so. I am so confused. I dont know who to believe or what to believe nor do I know how to trust now.

Yes ive asked about a sleep specialist but she doesnt think I need it. Guess see how far I get with all this stuffing around.

When im in pain like now I dont move much at all, it hurts to roll around. Its like this big ache and cant get comfortable but once I find that spot I wont move from it unless I need the bathroom and I do sleep more which is good but makes it hard to sleep with pain at the same time.

@Sakurapuss the weight gain is shocking! im sorry youve been haivng so much trouble with it too. i hope that your able to find a balance soon too

Re: rough time

Todays gp appointment was suppose to be just to get a script and I was there for half an hr!

Im getting thrown around everywhere. I dont know who to believe. Who to trust or what to think.

This appt I was lucky to get because the original gp I was seeing went home early however I dont trust that gp even more now and wont ever go back to him. He seems to be very careless!

This gp I seen today thinks I still have stomach issues relating to a stomach ulcer and/or inflamed lining. I told her of my symptoms inclduing some of the kidney pains ive had and she says yes it sounds like one evne if its a small ulcer they are very painful.

The reason she wont give me my stronger pain meds are because they are mostly anti-inflammatories and cant take otc anti-inflammes either. She explained that every time im taking those meds if I have a stomah ulcer than its making it a lot worse and not allowing it to heal. Shes concerned im still having stomach troubles esp with the pain and not being able to eat properly. She said if it doesnt settle after a few weeks on 'religiously taking the antacids' then she would like me to go under the scope. The bloods cant tell if I have an ulcer only if the h.pylori is present and in my case its not.

She scared the crap out of me about how serious a stomach ulcer can be and they can burst then will be in a world of trouble, she is surprised no one is taking me seriously. She said if I stay on the meds I was on-the pain/anti-inflame ones then It could make it worse and cause renal problems.

She wants me to get all the reports from podiatrist, chiro and osteo path for both foot and neck as shes quite worried esp after I said I told the gp I had at the time and they didnt bother to look and just agree with what I had said the chiro said and my interpretations. I told her everything I could remember and she said im not exactly sure what all that means and wants to see the scans casue apparently degeneration could be something else and this could be that and so much to process.

So right now the plan is- taking full strength otc pain relief every 4 hrs, use my heat packs, try and sleep or at least rest. And also keep up with the sustagen but try to manage small things too. She also referred me to a physio. Ive got all my reports so far but waiting on a few and need to organise a physio. Something happened with a physio that makes me worried to go back. I havent meantioned it because its part of his job but when I was having neck pain before and went to him he um... I cant say it yet as its too uncomfortable and feel im over reacting. Its only minor anyway.

Re: rough time

@outlanderif something didn't feel right then you need to trust your instincts. However small or even if you feel you are over-reacting, if it felt wrong to you then it is wrong. You don't have to tell us on here at all.

This Gp you saw today seems good, hopefully you can keep seeing her. She seems more thorough and seems to want to get some answers for you.

Re: rough time

I was laying on my back as he was working on my neck musles at the front and also upper eyes but also worked on the pec muscles and for me that was really awkward and painful might i add esp since he put his hand down my shirt and massaging the muscles in a rather sensitive area @Snowie it made me really uncomfortable but he explained what he was doing it just felt so wrong and awkward.
This gp works in a hospital as well and is only at the practice 2 days a week so kinda doing joint care again but mainly with regular gp

Re: rough time

@outlander @Snowie - ive just got home after a really long day, but it's 38 degrees here and my house is like a furnace. So I'm going for a swim and I'll be back in an hour or so

Re: rough time

ok @outlander I understand hun. I have problems getting massages and going to physio too. Even though they are professionals, with some of our past experiences, it is something that sits uncomfortably with us.

Well hopefully this gp gives your regular one a kick up the ar*e!!!
