rough time

it feels like a constant state, its weird and painful and makes me more nervous which doesnt help. I have never had such a fast heart beat. Its been like this all last night and all day. I couldnt sleep because of it and it doesnt go it just gets worse. But i am relativeley calm. I started my book today and have been taking it easy and self caring. I dont get why its this constant state but doesn't get better. The deeper i was breathing the worse i would feel.

Can you just try to focus on your breath really carefully @outlander. Stop everything else, put your feet firmly on the ground, stare at a spot on the wall, floor or whever. Don't try to force your breathe to slow. Just notice it, feel it going in and out. Notice your heartbeat. Feel it's pumping through your arteries and the sensation in your chest. Don't analyse, judge or attempt to stop it. Just notice and see it calms by doing this

I tried it for a while over 20 minutes and then went in for a shower i thought i was ok and then i layed down on my bed and its gone back to fast heart feeling like getting enough air and feeling weird @Sans911

My heart feels like its beating that hard its rocking me and can hear it
