Re: rough time

Hey @Owlunar

Are you taking probiotics while you are on antibiotics? Would be a good idea if you're not. You can now get ones that don't need refrigerating.

Re: rough time

Anytime you want to pick my brain 🧠 is OK lil Sis @outlander but leave some left for me OK 😂.

Re: rough time

My mum loves the British royal history @Owlunar
She is like an encyclopedia on monarchs, the house they are from and who ruled at what point.

It's a fascinating thing. Victoria was interesting.

Re: rough time

Yes @Sans911

I always take probiotics - I think it's a good idea - I take some other supplements as well - and I take them a couple of hours after the antibiotics

I started writing this when I was waiting to see my doctor after I had seen the nurse and I was waiting for the doctor to sign off on my plan to see the podiatrist - and lost the message when I got my taxi - and since I have been home I have had a few distractions and it took me this long to find the message - it was safely saved but I forgot which thread it was on - but here I am typing another little story

And @outlander - my movie-buddy has located her kitten - she started looking around on the internet and found a photo of her kitten in a shelter - and her neighbour is going to get the kitten for her tomorrow - some people are so kind

And for the kindness - they have a few chairs outside my doctors clinic and I was able to sit outside waiting and someone offered me a lift but a taxi had been organised for me

I did tear a square out of my sheet to use for a mask but that was too hard to breathe through - last Friday it was too hot to use my scarf but today the scarf was better - we are turning into a society of masked bandits - or not - everyone wearing a health mask of whatever kind is doing the right thing

Re: rough time

im really glad she found her kitten @Owlunar that is good news

lots of places are implementing things to reduce risk and to make patients more comfortable thankfully. i have a phone call appointment to get my results back from a test i had to do about a week ago, it was suppose to be the morning but when i rang this morning and spoke to reception about my cough they paniced and cancelled everything but i rang back and they could fit me in to discuss my results in the arvo. its all on the phone so not risk to anyone.

pops starting to find it a little hard now, hes not use to me hiding in the bedroom and keeps saying i need to go to the drs- i said i did and that i just need to watch my cough and i have to stay away from people till my cough gets better-theres no way im telling him i got tested otherwise the world would end i think and ive asked mum to keep it from the kids cause i don't want them to worry either

Re: rough time

Glad you are hanging in there @outlander and hope your test comes back clear.

Taking all the right precautions is complicated, but you are thinking everything through and doing a great job.

Re: rough time

thanks @Appleblossom
im extremely nervous and everytime my phone vibrates or rings it makes me even more nervous. they don't contact anyone between 6pm and 8am so between no and then ive turned my phone on silent so if I get any msgs from anyone or social media notifications it doesn't reset me back off.

pops not really handling this isolation thing well though. his new thing is constantly coming in sayin I should see a dr, if I turn him away without an explanation he gets upset but its starting to defeat the purpose of quarantine. if this comes back positive I think I might have to look for alternative arrangements where he is to move out or I will cause I cant have it happening, im trying to avoid any contact with him as it is.
everytime im in the kitchen or bathroom I have a spray bottle with disinfected mix and cloth and I spray and wipe everything when im finished
