yes and no @Former-Member im trying to study but my headaches aren't making it very hard and this course is actually quite challenging. they ramble a lot and I keep getting lost and confused about what they are talking about. im taking notes from the summary pages because its not making a whole heaps of sense but I like the virtual challenges they have, they are pretty good.

I am doing a course in dementia but they are talking about the nervous system. I have a basic knowledge but im getting lost with what they are talking about.
they were talking about the process in which a neuron receives information and ive got the rest except one but where they've said ' neurons receive information through dendrites (got that part) which then leads to an electrical signal that is propagated down the axon' that sentence has lost me because then they started rambling on about TREES! tried looking it up but its talking about reproduction and I don't think that's what they are talking about 😬😬🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Hmm, Is it the word propagated that has you confused? In this context it means professed. Progressed down the axon of the nerve cell.

yes its that word because they were talking about it and then all of a sudden started talking about trees and they totally lost me! @Former-Member
yes that does help because then they go on to talk about the synapses and the neurotransmitters and that was the missing link!
