@outlanderI get exhausted being around my mother. She is so needy and has these out bursts of anger, normally directed at me.
I don't really manage it well. I normally just let her say what she needs to say and cop it. If I say something back to her I just end up the worst person in the world.
I know this doesn't help but I find just keeping the peace the easiest way for her to stop berating me.

im feeling abit drained and abit frustrated tonight @Snowie
pops personality is quite draining but also pain as well. the nerve stuff is becoming draining and its frustrating that I still cant chew much. I tried scrambled eggs and it just caused pain all in my jaw and teeth. and was at the horses earlier and had to bend over a few times to pick some things up and gave myself a whopping headache so both of those combined today have made it a not so great sort of day.
I did speak with my nurse this morning though about some of my concerns about Friday and she talked me through a few things so am more at ease and feel better about the decision ive made as well.

Sounds like it has been a painful day @outlander with your mouth and head. I hope it eases for you soon, you have been through so much.
I am glad you got to speak to your nurse today to put your mind at rest. Hopefully it all goes ok.
I am ok, just waiting for the hospital to notify me as to when I go in, probably by Friday I would say. Things are escalating at home a bit so hoping it is sooner rather then later.

thanks @Snowie its bringing me down abit as it is visibly showing that I have a problem as well (basically only one side of face from the cheek down looks like its working and affects my speech abit as well 😣) so its making me very self conscious.
if procedure is successful and no awful side effects itl be a really good decision. they just have to be able to put it in without to many dramas first.
im sorry things at home are starting to escalate, I hope your hospital rings up soon.
is it just a day visit for treatment or will is be a few days as a respite/safety situation?
