Re: rough time

Sounds like your whole experience in hospital wasn't exactly positive @outlander and I'm really sorry to hear that.

I'm dissapointed your family weren't a little more caring about you and seemingly have abandoned you now you're at home. Just try to take it as easy as you can do and everything will gradually improve. Have you tried drinking with a straw? Or tried taking your medications with yoghurt? I find yoghurt works quite well as it slides down easily. Everything in your mouth & throat will be irritated for a little while but it will settle.

I'm super angry 😡 about the carer you had & I strongly recommend you report her as she wasn't be paid to sleep. Unfortunately her snoring gave her away. It's not right that they get away with it and this is not the first time I've heard this happening.

I've just had a lovely shower and washed my hair. I'm going to try to get some study done today but not much else happening for me.

Re: rough time

I wish it hadve been abit more positive too @Sans91 but I guess it is what it is and i guess in a way it could've been worse. Im sorry im being so negative. I know the nurses were more then likely doing the best they can under the pump. I should find out more information Monday/Tuesday and on Friday as well when I see the specialist though so will give me a better idea of what actually happened.

ive just put on a movie and doing some word searches. i was trying to fill in all these paperworks that pops specialist needed but its too draining atm so ive asked mum to give me a hand with it when shes free.

Re: rough time

Is it normal to feel so empty?

It feels like something is pressing on my chest.

I miss being truly happy.

This is agony.

Re: rough time

hey @natanne
For those with mental health issues as we were discussing before feeling empty and like something heavy is weighing on you is quite common but it shouldn't be a normal way to feel. it truly is awful and hard to manage.

I know you were diagnosed with BPD and are seeking out groups but was also wondering if you have any friend, family and/or professional supports?
