@outlander I read back a few pages and thought I had replied..... only in my head.... not very helpful.

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope - a lot. My emotions just hit the surface. It's like a kind of grief underlying all the fears and concerns. Grieving the little girl I raised. Crying now. No plans for today early on but just to add to the challenges my mother arrives this afternoon for a few days. So I'll be making a big pot of soup for us all to share tonight. She can be a trigger person for me even when nothing else is happening so hoping she isn't out of order this time - she thinks she's just eccentric and runs off at the mouth, but actually she says some outrageously unacceptable things. Steeling myself is difficult when the other stuff with my kid is so prominent.

Oh @eth .... I remember your mother is so challenging. I have a mil similar. I hope so much that she behaves herself today. It’s hard going as it is, and I can relate very much to that grieving, for different reasons. You take care of yourself, huh ??! That big pot of soup is a fab idea, and if you’re preparing all the ingredients to go into it, that will give you a nurturing thing to keep you occupied .....
