I'm not sure yet @outlander. But she's coming back early because of me and my upcoming surgery. She is looking for a housesit nearby so she can feed the cats while I'm in hospital. She's likely to stay in the West possibly up until Christmas. Maybe longer.
I just bought a second hand fold-out bed today so if I need her to stay with me for a couple of nights after I come home from hospital, then she has somewhere comfortable to sleep.

My mother likes housesitting so it's good for both of us @outlander. She's quite concerned about me and that I might not cope mentally or physically, and although I'm grateful for her support, I know if I had to I'd manage just fine on my own.
I'm just up my diary, but I got a letter today for pre admission clinic in two weeks so I can't go much further than that in case I'm in hospital. I'm really going to have to do some shuffling or cancelling some of my volunteer events and ask for help with others.

I worry about you too @Sans911 nothing different there though. Its not a minor surgery and i know your one tough cookie but its still nice you have others thatll care for you for a change.
Does that mean its happening in about 2 weeks since pre admission is then?

Yes, that's quite possible lil Sis @outlander. But surgery can still be up to a week or more from pre admission date. Now I have the letter/appt I should hear very soon.
Both cats have turned around to face me. Jasper has his eyes half open and Mr A has stretched himself diagonally across his bed.

Usually it ends up with me in front of the TV watching garbage from the US.
Atm I am watching the cycling though. It's pretty good.
