Just going to come over to here sis. And no your definently not keeping me up. 💜 @Sans911 hopefully im not keeping you up though...
My good sleeps gone out the window again now ao back to not sleeping. Extra unsettled tonight for some unknown reason.
Mm yes age does play a factor indeed! Not always though.
I knew you worked in the ED HDU ICU and those sorts of areas but i didn't know how long the shifts were. That is a really big shift. People dont give nurses enough credit for what they do. Why are the shift lengths different between wards though? Im not sure thats a question you can answer but it makes me curious. As much as every nurse is amazing i would've thought it mightve been the other way round where general wards were abit longer and the ed etc wouldve been shorter since they are caring for the emergent and higher needs patients?

Oh! Yes that makes sense @Sans911 id imagine having that consistent care is really important in the critical care wards.
If im remembering right-In our critical care wards we generally have one nurse sitting nearby each individual patient at all times and then a few at the desk area, is that the same for wa too?
Is hdu different to icu? I havent really heard of people mention hdu only icu besides the general ed etc wards.
Sorry for all the questions 😮 hope your ok talking about these?
