Re: rough time

That's normal where I come from @outlander,my doctor looks like the big bad teddy from last toy story movie, walks like him too lol.Loveable but not good with mh.Sure he is out having several morning tea breaks, doesn't come out and get no one for 30 min-hr.

Re: rough time

Oh lol love the analogy @Former-Member this ones not that great with mh but im not here for that so should be fine. Hes actually getting through them quickly. The 2 before me mustve only needed scripts as it was a short time they were in there.

Re: rough time

hmm yes indeed @Former-Member it seems the more i help my mental health the worse my physical health suffers!

anyway the dr actually asked what was wrong and happening, in life medications etc and actually listened! (rare find that one!) and said it sounds like GERD but hes not sure what is causing it. he said it could be all the stress i am always under, my age or all the medications casuing both the gerd and the ulcer but cant be clear on the ulcer as yet. i have to wait a week because of the things ive tried the antacids as they could alter the result so hes given me a script for stronger things and can take twice a day and it wont affect the results when im able to get tested for ulcers. he said bloods may show it and cause i have to have bloods in about a week to test for liver function so can add it onto that as well as doing the balloon test.

he said avoid anything that triggers the reflux- well thats just about anything so basically toast and luke warm team, milk and water it is!

Re: rough time

Hugs, @outlander. That doctor sounds like a good one. I'd be sticking with him if you can. Take it as easy as you can while going through the process of getting a proper diagnosis for these physical health issues.

Re: rough time

@outlander,you need more medication! No wonder the dr is opening weekends, probably did it for you!lol

I was quite sick in my twenties as stated, thought I had gallstones, stomach acid and ulcer, sick for a while once you have a flare up .You will have to watch what you eat for a while.
