Can you borrow some of the power and the endless movement of the tides.
I used to be very much a water and boat person (Before kids) Caught it from my dad during the 2 years we lived on Sydney Harbour when I was 8-10. My dad was in care all his life from 6 weeks til 17 and going to WWII in the navy.
You need to build on your strengths. Glad you had one decent foster experience.

Yeah I know.
One lady made dolls clothes with me and her hubby taught me how to polish my shoes. Out on the back step. I just tell myself the good things and try and forget the S**T, unless there is something I can learn from it.
So you got water and earth things happening. Build on it. Find healthy ways to self soothe. Any mates on the coast?

yeah exactly i didn't realise how much they did for me to help until now @Appleblossom i was terrible i'd try to run away, i'd scream at them i'd break stuff and they actually put up with me, and when i was calm they talked to me like nobody else ever had - they asked me how my day was, they fought with workers to get me OT support because nobody else thought i needed it
they already had kids who were becoming independent, they didn't have to do all this for me but they did

Then I became a Great Ocean Road girl. Loved watching the waves roll in from a cliff or hill in the Otways. Hour after hour It does its thing.
