Lost in my mind

Lost in my mind

I have never been on a forum before but need to get out of my head what's in it so here goes

I started getting hormone injections after surgery for endometriosis and i am now feeling lost alone and can't shut down my head. I suffered years of abuse growing up. ....have been in the mental health system for over half my life . But i broke free i got a nursing degree and things were fine until the surgery in 2013. The past two years have been tough but now now i have had enough the thoughts the wanting to self harm and the thinking and trying to work just to live causes me pain. I no i can get through this just need more help and support where can i find this. # new to wa

Hi I find Charlie's difficult ...... Depends what paychiatrist is in Emergency.
Osborne park Psych hospital ...... Unfortunately yet another hospital who has not cared about the carers. Point of view and funny story about me being an out patient.

@Tattoonurse I need to look up your afflictions. My friend @Appleblossom might be able to fill me in.
Your not alone @Tattoonurse.
The moderators are here and read all messages and us regulars/ newbies/ once every now and again do too and what happens is in the process of compassion : often we all feel a twinge in the heart reminding all of us of the same problem or.... Something very similar

Hi @Tattoonurse and @PeppiPatty

Just a quick reminder that the forums are anonymous so please be mindful not to post any information that could reveal your "real life" identity. Similarly, we don't allow members to mention specific practitioners, so posting about a service or hospital is ok, but please take care not to get too specific. I hope that makes sense. You can read more about it in the Community Guidelines.

Re: Lost in my mind

I have met a few women with various levels of endometriosis ... it is a feminist issue ... like fat is a feminist issue.

According to the research endo is painful and often undiagnosed through the centuries ... a tough gig.... probably had a lot to with feelings of not being well ... a huge range of hormones (and not just sex and badly behaving teens) are hugely implicated in our well being.

Hang in there @Tattoonurse and keep posting .. I try and do the right thing by forum guidelines but get pulled up from time to time ... dont let it stop you from getting things off your chest or out of your head.
