Christian Chat

Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

@ENKELI I get that you are used to quality re music in worship. Me too. Thats said our little choir is doing an anthem this week, and I am doing some descant recorder. At least the conductor wants to include me in ways unique to me and I appreciate that.

A decent pastor is worth their weight in gold.

My son says I have "settled" with regards to music, and it is true, but I dont know what else to do. The shifts and ebbs and flows and currents in life, have lead me here. I keep trying for gratitude for what ever is working in the slightest degree.

Its just good to have your friendship. Thanks.

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI ,

My weekend away was lovely. We went down the south coast where there was light blue water everywhere surrounding sand dunes. Amazing water views.

We stayed at a slightly remote (had to travel a bit of dirt road to get there) lakeside place which even had cows and kangaroos. Very quiet and peaceful.

I still feel surrounded by the water and quietness.

It was a really nice family get together.

Re: Christian Chat

@Appleblossom you are an absolute sweetheart. It's not hard to be your friend.

Do you think you've settled?

I have been wanting to find a church to call home, as that is how I felt at my previous church where I was baptised as an adult. I have never felt that same connection anywhere else and I wonder if I am expecting too much.

Maybe I just need to stop and listen instead of making demands on what I consider to be "home" churchwise.

I hope your week goes well xoxo

God bless

@Realness

Glad you found tranquility on your weekend away.

I have had a really interesting intense passionate 3 hours of theological and life discussion with my support worker and my son joined us for the last hour. We got on like a house on fire... in a good way. I had not realised that he had been a pastor and preacher for 10 years, and there is lots still in him, but he has moved from his last postion at church and being more private and developing his work as a support worker. It was amazing. So tranquility has its place in spirituality, but also passionate discussion and man to man talk and man to woman talk. I did not know how it would go. I was vulnerable but mildly optimistic, at the start of the shift, but more confident and relieved, that my son and him will get on well. Phew! Grateful. Fancy that. I showed him all my theology books and we just raved and raved and I showed him my sacred music, including singing a tiny bit of Faure in French, cos his his first language was French. It is just the 2nd shift. He is loving his work with us. Oh the ups and downs and flows in life ....

@DownMoreThanUp You wrote "i'm experience my trauma mainly in fight mode and she in flight more. For me emotional intensity, for her emotional deadening the same trauma. She appreciated my comment and promised she think about. " There could be much richness in the healing potential of gradually incorporating these insigths into your relationship. Its huge. Yes I respect Peter Levine. Working through the individuation of each and in relation to each other. All strength to you both.

Hi @Appleblossom ,

Your time with your support worker sounded amazing. A real time of connection to another person. It's wonderful when that happens. Especially when it's around/about a common faith.
