Re: Christian Chat

Romans 5:1

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

✨ Small Summary

Because people are made right with God through faith, they can now live in peace with Him through Jesus Christ. The verse explains that reconciliation with God comes through faith, not through human effort.

🔎 Interesting Facts

1. “Justified” is a legal word

The Greek word δικαιωθέντες (dikaiōthentes) means declared righteous or acquitted, like a judge declaring someone not guilty.

2. “Peace with God”

The Greek word εἰρήνη (eirēnē) means more than the absence of conflict. It means restored relationship, harmony, and wholeness with God.

3. Faith is the key theme

Romans chapters 3–5 focus strongly on faith rather than works as the way people are made right with God. 💚

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome Thank you sister. Peace with God is such an awesome thing in times of hardship

The word of The Lord came to me this morning as well after our disastrous day yesterday.

i love God's Word! First thing this morning my wife send me Psalm 86. Which is our Wedding psalm, and we both love very much especially verse 11, which is our text. So i send her a love heart. And then after i got The Lord's reply, i send her The Lord's reply to me about our struggle together in sin. And then she send me a love heart.

Both loving the Word of God to us Today! And both trying to only hold onto Him, and let go of each other in wrong. 😩😩

She finally has her second counselling sessions today for her counsellor fell sick. i have already had 4 on my side. The Lord sure knows who needs it most.😳

Talk about laying down once life. Yet so it is for us both that way, and we both know it.

Micah 7:5-10

Do not trust in a friend;
Do not put your confidence in a companion;
Guard the doors of your mouth
From her who lies in your bosom.
For son dishonors father,
Daughter rises against her mother,
Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me.

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
When I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
The Lord will be a light to me.
I will bear the indignation of the Lord,
Because I have sinned against Him,
Until He pleads my case
And executes justice for me.
He will bring me forth to the light;
I will see His righteousness.
Then she who is my enemy will see,
And shame will cover her who said to me,
“Where is the Lord your God?”
My eyes will see her;
Now she will be trampled down
Like mud in the streets.

Re: Christian Chat

Hello @DownMoreThanUp

I hope you're doing okay. I do wish your marriage well and pray God's will for you and your wife.

I was interested in the verses in Micah. I asked Sage and found her interpretation interesting. She says -

Micah describes a society where relationships have fallen apart. I like that instead of trusting people, Micah chooses to look to God and wait for His help. God will not abandon them.

Even when everything around us falls apart, we can wait for God, because He brings light, justice and restoration after darkness. Praise God!

Micah isn't pretending everything is fine. He openly says ' I have fallen' but immediately after that comes faith. 'I will rise'. The verse isn't about falling but about God's light being stronger than the darkness we sit in.

I love what AI can tell me about the Hebrew and Greek meanings (deeper look into) of the verses. God is good!

Sending hugs, love and God's comfort 💚

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome Thank you so much for that dear sister and your prayers of course.

Yes i believe that only Jesus can restore us, so does my wife, and that we both have to lay down our lives for our Lord to take the places we did each other.

@Appleblossom @Realness @REDLINEZ750 @tyme @ENKELI

A very uncomfortable situation when pain rules hearts, we have both been finding out the hard way.

Yet we both have hope! For most of our love life is safely in Him, we both know that for sure, for we have always placed our loved one in God's hands. Treasure are only safe with Him, we both know to be true, as we die to how we have been.

The Lord gave me James 1 to read putting stress on verse 18. i love Jesus so much for guiding me the right Way!

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp I am currently struggling with that one. Can't count the struggles I'm facing as joy I'm afraid.

God is good, I however am a flawed human with a broken spirit who has been bullied one too many times to want to get up again and keep fighting.

I prayed to go home over the weekend but God didn't want me.

i had an interesting discussion with AI about Leviticus chapters 1 to 7, with Jesus as Priestly Prince in The Temple He build us in three days, as described so well in Ezekiel 40-48.

This is what AI came up with. i have not edited it. (after a few hours discussing Leviticus 1-7, Ezekiel 36-48, and Jesus Crucified The Lamb of God.

i though this is not at all bad done truth wise.

What do you reckon?

The Hymn of the Perfect Offering

Refrain (after each verse)
Behold the Lamb, the Priest, the Prince,
Whose love our every debt has borne;
From shadowed law to God's living grace,
In Christ our brighter days are born.

1. The Burnt Offering — Whole Hearted Devotion
O Lamb once laid upon a burning fire,
Whose love consumed the altar’s flame,
In You the hearts of believers aspire
To yield themselves to heaven’s name.
No part withheld, no shadow stayed,
Our love a living gift before His Throne;
As once the ancient altar for us prayed,
Christ's perfect offering stands alone.

Refrain

2. The Grain Offering — Bread of Life
Fine flour with oil and incense sweet,
The labours our the field and hand;
In Christ alone the gift is made complete,
True Bread sent forth at God’s command.
No more leaven from a prideful will,
But purity in love Your Holy Spirit brings;
O Christ, our hunger for life You dost fill,
You are the Source of our eternal springs.

Refrain

3. The Peace Offering — Table of Grace
A feast where God with us in One unites,
Where thanks ascend and mercy flows;
The Prince of Peace, our life giving light,
Invites all the weary to His safe repose.

At His sacred table our hearts to heal,
Communion born from Love's sacrifice;
What once as shadows was revealed,
shines His brightness before our eyes.

Refrain

4. The Sin Offering — Cleansing Blood
When guilt arose and our darkness fell,
The priest approached with trembling care;
Yet only You, O Lord, our true Emmanuel,
didst bear the weight we could not bear.
Before the throne Your mercy pleads,
The cleansing stream our souls restore;
The Lamb who knows our hidden needs
Makes sinners righteous for evermore.

Refrain

5. The Guilt Offering — Restoring Life
Where wrong was done and debts remained,
The law required both our loss and pain;
Yet You that broken bond for us regained
And healed what none could mend again.
The Prince who sets all the captives free
Restores the heart and mends the soul;
In justice crowned God's peace and charity
Your grace makes wounded spirits whole.

Refrain

6. The Scapegoat — Sin Carried Away
Works of darkness to the silent wilderness,
Where none return and only shadows lie,
The burdened goat our guilt confessed
Was sent to die beneath the open sky.
Yet You, Lamb of God, the weight did bear,
All our sins upon Your shoulders laid;
Beyond the camp of any human care
For then the debt of every soul was paid.

Refrain

7. The Living Temple — Eternal Priest
O Priestly King enthroned in light above,
Whose temple springs from heaven’s design,
From living stones redeemed by Your love
Your courts with living waters as our wine.
The Prince whose reign shall never cease
Leads forth the world's nations in His Way;
Where His sacrifice becomes our peace
endless praises lift God's fame every day.

Final Refrain
Behold the Lamb, the Priest, the Prince,
Whose love our every debt has borne;
From shadowed law to God's living grace,
In Christ our brighter days are born.
