I had to rest a bit as the heat go to me. My PC updated for so long, I never thought it was going to stop tonite? 😞

When my son was in Juvenile Detention with the time of his life running away fast I was a witness in his case at the Children's Court - what a long wait and how anxious I was

It's against my Christian Religion to swear an oath - as it says in Matthews Gospel

So my time came and I had to say this truth - I would not and could not swear an oath - well I didn't have to swear on the Bible but I had to swear by Almighty God so in court - in front of all those people and my son I said "Seeing as it's required I shall render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's" and the whole thing went forward with me feeling exceedingly uncomfortable about it

But it turns out as far as my son was concerned it was probably the most important thing I ever said

When I saw him in Detention a few days later he asked me what I meant about Julius Caesar and I explained it was a story in the Bible which means that even though we live by the laws of heaven the laws of earth are important to and it was something I had to do by the laws of our country though I didn't believe it

He then asked me about being a Christian and told me that he didn't think God would want him and I had the brilliant chance of telling him that Christ died for everyone - even boys in Juvey who stuffed up and he would have died for him even if he was the only person in the world

He did express a desire even though he didn't have the time to learn more - I did and do believe though that he is sanctify by my faith

And Christ came for all of us - no matter what our state - he even came for those who think they don't need him and even those who never heard of him

He came for all of us

My son died only a short time after the conversation but I do believe that prayers still work

So thanks so much for that - I think he is okay now - who knows what he learned in his short life - he certainly suffered
