Hi @Former-Member have you found that sleeping during that day and being awake at night makes it easier on you and getting through?

I am finding that a Christian mentality and looking for answers in the old and new testament is easier than facing my real life problems with people. Nobody wants to loose a battle of face defeat and it helps me be more at peace. Otherwise I'd have problems with everyone that neve get resolved because they don't wanna be in the wrong.

Hi Eude, that only reason that I sleep on & off through the day is the pain killers effect on me. The more pain I am in, the more pain killer I take. Never over my prescribed amount.
The more I do, around the house, or even going for short walk to Doctors. A walk to the shop, which is just 1 street away from home. This puts a lot of pressure on my damaged knees, sometimes on other body parts. Any pressure can cause severe pain, which in turn is distressing for me.
This is the reason I stay up late at night as its more relaxing for me to be awake when its dark outside. I relax more in the evening, & I don't think as much usually.
I wake up continually from pain, or bad dreams, or both if I go to bed early at night.
I do not have that problem when sleeping in the day. I'm not too sure what makes such a BIG difference, day to night?
Guessing tho, maybe that I do less if I have to take naps Daily. So my mind & body are more relaxed?.....
You have a much different need for day time sleep Eude, that what I do, so if you are able to relax through the day & sleep, & that works for your emotional & mental health, go with it.
I find that for myself, when I start to think too much, & my thoughts are going in the direction of, I am the Victim, that's when I start talking to ABBA Father, in prayer, I remember HIS Word, & I speak it out to HIM & over myself, & no matter how my body feels, I try hard to block out the negative, & keep my mind, & my heart fixed on the Truth in My LORD.
Even if I am still emotional, I do not give in to the negativity, & in time it all works out for my good. Just like GOD promise it will.
I can NOT keep focusing on the reasons, & the people that helped to make my like a living hell.
I have to for my own good, move on from all that crap, or I will never be healed from my past.

That verse there from the Book of Proverbs, may seem rude, yet it is spot on, & I think about it when I start to get stuck in stinking thinking. Amen <><
