Christian Chat

Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

Most of us need to be reminded of that one! @ENKELI I think it's a human trait for most people to want more. Thanks for keeping in touch. It's always good to hear from you and I look forward to seeing what you have to say each time! Please be gentle with yourself over Christmas. I'm sure you'll grieve in your own time. Sending love your way. Praying! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Hi@ENKELI ,

Great to hear from you.

My own experience of grieving Dad was that there was fairly intense thinking about Dad for about five months. I found I worked my way through all my time with Dad starting as a small child and then as I grew up. I was struck by Dad's potential at this time. Who God created him to be. And then also the pressures of life and the reality which in some ways was no where near who God created him to be.

The painful rawness of losing a parent lasted for at least a month.

Dad was not a religious man but he honoured marriage and worked hard for decades to provide for his family. In my prayers for his spiritual journey after passing I think it was a robber on the cross type entry to heaven - at least in my prayers I think God accepted him.

I know that grief is different for each person. But that was my mourning a dad journey.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness thanks for sharing your experience. I know my dad believed in God but I am not sure if he accepted Jesus.

I have mixed emotions as I don't have a lot of happy memories of my dad. He left us when I was 5 and I only saw him a handful of times after. We did email each other a lot though and I find myself going to email him and then remembering I can't.

I hope your day treats you well xo

Content/trigger warning

1 Corinthians 3:12-18

"For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

(For) Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.

Love meeting the Lord inside your questions about your dad here. It was most liberating for me at the time.

@heartathome

They pushed the window down but I've already fixed that

Glad it's manual wind and so it was an easy fix with no electrics involved.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp thank you my brother. You have been on my heart all week. I forgave my dad many years ago and I accepted that he thought he was the best image of himself he could be. Jesus forgave me, who am I to not forgive my earthly father?

I pray you remain strong and that the week gives you joy and peace

Much love

xo

@heartathome Jesus, only ever Jesus, I betrayed Him most of my life in this alter. Yet He is faithful and has my good life awaiting for 2000 years. Already gnashing my teeth, mourning Him in my life, the fool i have been not believing Him appearing in my life.

What pain have I caused our dear Lord doing that?

Talk about being number 666

@ENKELI @avant-garde @Realness @Appleblossom

that is why i love Him so much putting me DOWN like this in my death and raising back up me dead in Him. (Isaiah 57:1-2)
