Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! @heartathome Sorry to hear you are feeling downish, and that your son is not doing well. i have said a prayer for you both. Although i'm not down myself at the moment, i fully identify that Heaven is where my Joy is down deep.

This is the purpose of many of my poems, to try and show that the Heavenly Realms can be experienced even in our darkest most down and out moments. As long as we have our life in Him, so we can rule our depressed life His Good Life, instead of be (over)ruled by our bad life.

Be of good courage in Jesus you will overcome everything keeping you down!😀

Feasting My Good Life

The Wicked captivated my truth
the truth of my heart and mind
and wound me around their lies
knotted me out of my own reality
into the dungeons of torture below.

Unable to unravel their cob webs
the wicked took control of my life
and brought much pain and misery
feasting on my God given good life
at the expense of my own welfare.

Yet when Christ light lit up my night
and i saw Him on the clouds of heaven
The Wicked sprung all their traps
thinking i was as good as dead
trapped in their nasty fowler's nets.

Yet the Lion of the tribe of Judea
killed the goats great and small
and set me free from their control
and gave me back my freedom in Him
feasting good times growing New Life.

Depressed?

The hurt of our depression
is not just the painful fact
that all our good life is gone,
but even much worse seeing
that crappy bad life enjoying
ripping our remaining life apart.

The sorrow of our depression
are those malicious lies ruling
twisting us into an abomination
time and again those nasty lies
dumping us in that desolate pit
always bringing us desolation.

The hopelessness of depression
always floods fully throughout us
when we are utterly overwhelmed
by the darkness pressing us down
us deep into that black hole smiting
with us feeling lonely and forsaken.

The way out of deepest depression
is to persist to lovingly love yourself
away from the loveless lies hurting,
entering back in God's Loving Truth,
ruling Christ's Good Life from Above.

@heartathome Thanks. To be honest i have not done much of anything. i have been posting on SANE. Improved a few of my older poems and shared them on a different site.

Oh i love using the NKJV best, it seems to be the most accurate. However when i really want to know the Word, i will study the original through the blue letter bible. For especially bible names, of both people, cities, and even nations, often have subtle other meanings which when read spiritually make a lot more sense why The Word says hat it says and aid comprehension.

i also wrote a short poem about those who feel themselves better than others, but it is in draft form, i'm not sure if i'm happy with the length, and/or what else to write about as a better conclusion.

Those To Be Pitied Serving Lies.
Those who think themselves better than others,
always receive. arrogance and pride as brothers.
Their untruths spark feelings. mothering disdain,
lies fathering eyes. lighting ever burning flames.

So are those who hate people God made good.
to stamp on other skin colours their ugly boot.
All hell breaking loose the evil they propagate,
for they believe skin colour does them elevate.

I like the poem, @DownMoreThanUp . It sounds like the start of something. I'm on an app that gives me the choice of many different versions of the bible. I go for the easy-to-read version. 😁 Thanks for the scripture. God is good! I could never understand why the images of Jesus are mostly white! 🤔

@heartathome or worse has blue eyes!!! (Although i know when i walk in His Spirit Jesus has (also) blue eyes.🤣)

Truly i dislike any images of Jesus displaying Him as a Benevolent Western man with long blondish flowing hair and blue eyes.

Such images betray religious idols telling the story us people serving Antichrists not Christ.

@REDLINEZ750 i like his songs, they show religious people miss God in Jesus altogether, and challenge to become Christ like so such songs will never be true again.
