@ENKELI it sure sounds like you have been through the mill. So sorry to hear you have had to go through all this. How painful life can be.

i fully relate to life being painful. To be honest Jesus came to me in my painful self first, where i had hurt the wicked ruling my life sin and misery. i wrote a poem about it, but am not allowed to post it on Sane.

i wrote another poem about the day Jesus showed me who the real enemy in my life was. Not myself as a fallen believer, and not other people treating me badly, but the wicked living in my heart and mind because of the lies i had believed about God, myself and my neighbour.

Not sure how it will turn out, but i wrote this poem on an image, to show the shape the poem was originally written in.

I hear you about a few things. Yes, gratitude for the things we have. Yes, the importance of being still, and that paid employment is not the only ethical path. Often the work force has many temptations, and surrender and humility with God are important. The opinions of others are just their opinions. God help me find the wisdom and courage to shake negative judgments off, like a duck shaking water off its back. I struggle with that a lot. I need to grow some armour to deflect those opinions, and learn different ways of being social so I don’t share too much from my vulnerabilities. It’s not their business, even though I ache inside to be accepted for all of it. I guess I have to face that I have a prayer relationship with god, and humans are very human, and not to muddle them up. People can’t give what they do not have. So adjusting my desires and expectations for more realism.

The truth is when i was down in my pit, all these years ago, i promised the god i was serving i tell everyone if he could get me out of that hell hole, even as i was preparing my demise, for i did not believe he would, for he did not care about me, and had made me to burn his hell.

That me is no longer here. i died true Jesus Coming Alive inside of me instead. Setting me free the god of religion and on fire for God and His Word as He says it inside my heart it is. Setting me free, every day some more.

And so my poems sprung into being, as i travelled with Jesus through my life over the last 20 odd years since His first appearing down deep.

At first i trusted Him blindly, for i had so clearly heard Him speak my name, trusting His Word in Isaiah 55, telling me He never sends His Word without purpose.

So when i read it, for years 24/7, always opening the bible randomly, and could not understand what He said to me, reading what i did, i trusted He would reveal it to me along the Way. (Even though at first i was only very few of me believing Him, inside of, me of then, if that makes sense?)

And so He did!

i'm still going. So many deaths to wrong inside my heart and mind later later, and as many resurrections into His New in those selves. Talk about setting the prisoners free!

And therefore i love to encourage all my brothers and sisters in the faith. That Jesus is REAL and can truly be known, very intimately so. If we seek Him in our heart for that is where He dwells inside our hearts, more often than not on the bottom of it. That is why it was so good to meet Him there!

Jesus speaks to us through His Spirit within us, John 14, He speaks through the truths of the bible. BUT NOT AS THE ACCUSER DOES. For unlike satan Jesus' Voice always speaks in love for God, ourself, as well as our neighbour, even as God loves us. And BEST of ALL His Voice denies that JESUS IS NOT ALIVE IN YOU, as the spirits of the antichrist tries to force down our throats, were as alway we are no good, and we are doomed because of who we are, as they speak of the self image, we ourselves, hold onto, believing their lies, i found out to be true.

Jesus saved me from so many of them, through me reading the bible to my heart and getting to know Him. This sanctification process is still ongoing, but i'm much stronger, much more thankful and joyfuller than ever. Though depression and psychosis are still very real in my life, His love conquers all, for Jesus places everything in my life upside down to how it used to be when i did not yet know Him like this. And i love Him for it.

His Sword putting all the wicked ruling your reality to flight. (Revelation 19:11-21)
Where life shaped by a world without any redeeming light. (Revelation 15-17)
Is numbered to perish, the forces of Lamb's saving might. (Revelation 18, 20:13)

Reborn in Christ a New Creation, reborn as God's Own Kind. (Revelation 21:1-7)
Dining His Word of Truth, sees God's love the wicked grind. (Zechariah 5)
The Revealing of His Light, heals your lame, deaf and blind. (Luke 14:1-24)

For New Life growing God's Kingdom, reshapes heart and mind. (Romans 6:4)

I am fighting feelings of anxiety at the moment and feel quite overwhelmed. I know why, I just have to work through it.

@DownMoreThanUp thanks hon. Every time I immerse myself in the gospels and spend a lot of time with God I get anxiety. I know it's Satan so I also know I will be okay and if it is too bad I will take medication.
