Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I know the story story associated with Palm Sunday, it that's about it. Do people 'celebrate' it? What's the significance?

Of course I could do a Google search, but I wouldn't mind hearing it from someone on the forums.

PALM SUNDAY celebrates the week before Jesus was crucified (EASTER) when He Entered the City of Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover Jesus become so popular that the crowds greeted him at the city gates with palm leaves and singing "HOSANNA to the King of Kings" thanking God.

Jesus came on donkey as prophecied as the Messiah. Who would set free God's people from bondage for all eternity ✝️
And, I was honoured too today, that my birthday fell on Palm Sunday this year. I had the best day 🤗🌿

So glad you had a good birthday on Palm Sunday @Former-Member and explained it.

I spent time in a very traditional church @BPDSurvivor We would process with palm leaves to begin the service. There is a lot of memorialising in Christian liturgies, which feeds into family traditions and therefore experiences. For me this Palm Sunday was special as I was reading Bonhoeffeur in the sun and waiting for my son and grandchild under palms in a favourite part of town. My grandson's other side of the family is atheist, but for me it was a spiritual moment.

Hi @Appleblossom, I 'get' those 'spiritual moments' too. Feel sorry for people who don't. It's wonderful to have faith in a living God who has made a way fwd and lift us a little higher than the confusing mess the worlds got itself into. And having MI - to know God's in control and loves me and wants us to trust Him and "love others as ourself"

I do not push religion or spirituality on them. They are fixed in their ideas, but there are many values we share so I focus on that, and of course interacting with the beautiful little boy.

Some say 'religion' is God's enemy, I like to think I have
RELATIONSHIP, not religion. It's the most natural thing to make peace with God.
