Christian Chat

Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Hey @Former-Member

my dog is a labradoodle. She is super cute when she is fluffy but she looks a bit weird at the moment as she has just been clipped as there are lots of grass seeds dand she loves to chase the rabbits. Do you have to get your doggy clipped? I see both a psychiatrist ( not very often) but I regularly see a psychologist. It’s the psychologist that is letting me take my dog to my next session. I am hoping it gives me a bit more confidence to open up about what’s going on. What does a companion dog allow you and your dog to do? It’s been suggested that I try and get my dog trained so that she is able to wake me up during night terrors. But I’m not sure about this in terms of $ and how this would actually happen.

I have a night light, bells on my door ( to help me to realise that no one has come into my room). I also have tried sound at night. The 5 senses thing rarely works. I generally go out into the backyard, look at the night sky, marvel at creation. I’m constantly in awe that the moon is just reflecting the light from the sun! Especially when it’s a full moon like tonight.

I’m not sure what’s up with the frogs. But there is certainly a cacophony of sound as I walk past the dams not that they are very deep . We’ve had a few heavy rains every couple of weeks which has been great. I watch tv, listen to music and read. Generally I listen to worship music or musicals. Sometimes I just sit and listen to the entire Les Mis - it’s a way of getting me through some time. Most of what I read and watch are murder mysteries, crime or autobiography docos. Are you doing anything for New Years? I’m looking forward to it being a new year. It’s got to be better than this one although that’s probably not going to be that different but we can be hopeful. I might check out the night shift. Might make the nights not as long. Hope you get a chance to check out the moon tonight.

Hello @Former-Member 👋

I like to think of frog song as the "frogharmonic orchestra" and find great delight in it. (Perhaps it is their version of the hallelujah chorus?)

Re: Christian Chat

I’m sorry you feel this way @Former-Member and all I can say is that God’s joy is always a work in progress.

Sometimes we get ourselves into such a negative hole that it’s hard to see ourselves any other way but my aim is that I can live in God’s promises and be all that He intended me to be.

@Former-Member it is so very hard at times. Holding onto hope for you, God is with you and we are upholding you with prayer. Is your labradoodle with you?

Re: Christian Chat

Thanks @Eve7 and @Former-Member

yes Scotch is with me. She's fast asleep under the blanket with me. I just can't seem to get myself together and I feel so distant from God at the moment. Prov 3:5-6 is my favourite so I'm trying to just trust.
