Father God, please hug my girl for me. I get so lost at these times, getting swallowed up in her 23rd birthday void. Forgive us, give us faith and hope. Help me trust you, even in great loss and confusion, for only you know the end from the beginning and love us into eternity. Help all of us here to feel, to know that love and acceptance this day, just as Jesus lived, and to learn to sit with you a while, recharge our soul battery, so we can get through today, without doing something stupid, help us "endure to the end" There's so many hurting here - please comfort them 🙏 - as only you can 🕊️ Thank you for the good that is, in creation, in each other, in you 🌿

Thank you @Former-Member @Maggie - that's lovely 💙💜 I found this post while surfing today, it reminded me where my hope lies. Its not in my earth family or even my Kidz, it's in the SON - our only way back to the Heavenly Father - who was there all along, and loves us. After my the girl died, in the throws of grief, I cried out to God in the night "how will I ever be happy again?" The message came through loud, clear and brief: "YOU HAVE MY JOY"... Joy is different to happy. Deeper. Its connected to hope, and faith, and I have all three. Its just I forget. The flower post reminded me - God doesn't leave, always with us, always there, we may not always feel the warmth of His love rays on our skin, but He is always watching over us. We just need to connect with that part within that sees the son, even on cloudy days.

Having said all that, Happy Birthday Princess, I was so happy to have my little girl placed in my arms that day, "she's perfect" I said,vyour tiny button nose and pursed lips all wrapped snug around your tiny 5wk premi 1.8kg body, perfectly formed. I remember your name first cuddle "oh God love her" she said from a depth of spirit only my mum could find. I miss that joy, but I know God holds ourvtears in a bottle and will reunite us soon, in that love we once knew.
