Hi @Former-Member, how are ya today? What's the LORD saying to your heart? I'm feeling a little guilty for not going to church - but i was up all night (much rolling round in my headhead re big decisions).

Its hard to keep going when the enemy is screaming so much condemnation my way (depressive blackdog thoughts - 'father of lies').

Its good to see your posts, reminders of Gods love and goodness & hope in us - the opposite to strife.

Its hard to have MI as a christian, being told "its a sin to dispair" etc, Its a struggle to identify it within let alone stop it. For me, Iit often FEELS like I don't fit in the church - or the world. But I must say, this last church experience (who don't know me well), they are good to me (a small handful of them). One even rang me today to see if I was OK cause I didn't make it today. I've never had that before.

Dear gracious and loving Heavenly Father, thank you that you hold each of us, your children, ever so firmly in your arms.

I bring to you our sister @Smc at this time. Lord, we tremble when our loved ones find living too difficult, when earthly help seems to be exhausted, we feel weary and powerless; our own strength fails. Lord, you give strength to the weary and I pray you will pour out your strength on Smc.

For our sister @Former-Member who has such a lot happening, we pray that in her despair, in this valley, she will feel you with her, guiding her through the darkness and as she emerges from the valley that she will have a clear sense of 'where to from here'.

Lord, in all of our struggles we see your mercies, touches from you that remind us of your loving care; for these, we thank you.

@Former-Member, one of the songs our church used this morning was "I Am Carried" by Geoff Bullock. He's openly talked about his struggles with Bipolar II. God's a whole lot bigger than any of our struggles and shortcomings, and he's got a much better grip on us than we have on him. Good thing too. If it all depended on me being strong enough, I would have been counted out a long time ago.

Thank you @Former-Member, beautiful beautiful prayer, anointed. And @Smc - thank you. Didn't know Geoff Bullock had bipolar, sure explains a lot. Last Sunday our guest speaker, a minister of a church elsewhere, he shared he too has BiPolar. I think sadly there may be much MH stigma / abuse even in the church. I liked how he talked on how each and every one of us are far from perfect. We ALL have sin and scars... There is no devide or competition. Always loved that saying F&H once shared:
