Re: Support
HI @Mountbeauty
Thank you for this post and welcome to the Sane forums. Sorry that your post must have got missed a few days ago and no one has welcomed you as yet 🙂
Sounds a bit tough for you atm going through drug withdrawal. I assume you mean prescribed medication? Hopefully you are talking with your Dr and s/he is guiding you through withdrawal. It's important that you have support over the next few weeks and focus on a healthy routine.
Have alook around the forum and you can do a topic search. Here is an old thread about medication withdrawal, and here could be of interest.
I look forward to chatting with you further.
Kind regards,
Frog

Re: Support
Withdrawal from any drug, alcohol, prescription, illegal - they all need to be handled in the same way.
Under the supervision of your gp or drug counselor.
Withdrawal to be done slowly - stretched over time, so it doesn't stress your body too much.
Anxiety, nervousness, anger - all types of emotions may come to the surface when detoxing. Be gentle with yourself. Take things easy. One thing at a time. Don't try to do too much at once.
Over time the withdrawal will settle down and things will become easier for you.
I wish you well.
