Fun with Fonts

Good afternoon fellow Forumites. Here's a spoiler alert for this thread: It is going to be really really really boooooooring. I want to experiment with different fonts. For some bizarre reason, which I'm sure clever people like @NikNik understand, when I make a post look exactly how I want it to look using IE, it ends up looking nothing like what I want it to look in Chrome. Hence I want to play around with font sizes and styles to try and figure out the best ones to use. That's it. That is all this thread is going to be about. Yep, definitely nothing interesting to see here.

{Phoenix_Rising now sits back and waits for some cheeky Forumite to start making smart comments on this thread, thereby somehow turning a completely innocuous thread into something ridiculous - glares particularly at @Queenie @Bunniekins @Zoe7}.

Ooooh look! I can see the Good Morning thread, the cats thread and the garden from here 😉

I went on a mission yesterday and found myself wandering around a forum about forum stuff to do with the place that powers this forum just so I could find a secret two character code to making the emoji guy that is not xD or XD. I found out all kinds of stuff to do with emoji packages and the history of emoji changes across platforms (I reeeeeeally need my kids to feel less tummy sick to save me from these kinds of missions if nothing else!), but I did not find my answer to the

guy (taking a guess that's the written code for him.

@Former-Member or anyone, if there's any chance you stumble across the answer to this can you please let me know 🙂 ? (it's like number 54,678,539 on my list of questions about the world, but it's there).

I was just about to crawl into a nest and have a big ugly vent about how annoying it is to be stuck in gaps in the system, but then I read your post and got a giggle at you having a chortle (I don't think I've ever used that word!) about fonts 😄

Wanna take a guess at the : smileylol : (without the spaces guy?

@CheerBear I had a chortle at @Queenie chortling too! Who knew that fonts could be so entertaining! @CheerBear I also giggled at your comment earlier about all the places you could see from our new spot here in social spaces. How did we even get here? Did @Former-Member fly us over to this part of Forum Land on her flying island while I was snuggled in your pocket???
