Re: Impossible way of life

Hi @Evie1

It sounds like the last couple of weeks have been really hard for you. Is there anything particular that's been going on, that you feel like sharing here?

In your earlier post, you've said, "I don’t know what out the other side anxiety". Do you mean that you don't know what it feels like to come out the other side of anxiety? You have said that you have some strategies to manage the anxiety. What are the strategies that you've found helpful in the past?

I get that it can be really hard to remember what it's like to smile and be happy. Sometimes just knowing that you have smiled and been happy can be a reminder that you will again. In my experience, feelings do pass, even when it feels like you're going to be sad forever.

Re: Impossible way of life

Hi @Evie1 from my experiences of anxiety. It is all based around fear (false evidence appearing real ) and it is very cunning and deceptive. During my recent and reoccurring bouts of anxiety. It starts manipulating and controlling me. And i just do not need that. Because it is not what i want and not who i want to be. Luckily it always passes and there is always a rainbow on the other side of the storm and life goes on. (Get back on track )

Looking back on my history of anxiety. I perhaps was... taking too much on, out of my league, in over my head. And was not being real kind too myself (surrounding what the anxiety was based on )

My social status, my identity, (reputation / what others thinking of me vs intimate knowledge of myself ) and my image had quite a bit too do with it. So i reached out for help and things slowly but surely got better. I made suitable adjustments and changes. Mentally and physically. And my true self ended up coming to the surface. I think there is a difference between the health benefits of facing fears and knowing what triggers and sets of an episode.

You'll get there. Thinking of you.

And good morning @Evie1 what's happening in your world and how are you handling everything? You're a good person. You deserve what's best for you.
