under 30s thread

under 30s thread

thought it might be cool to get everyone under 30 years old to share their experiences on the forum
just to help each other with "young people stuff"

Re: under 30s thread

you are a good sister @outlander
i find i look out for my younger sister a lot actually.. scary stuff as we get older
my sister has it rougb because of a tumour she had several years back..and she had a lot of friends abandon her.. so we've been through similar. We are good friends. Its the familial instinct i guess

Re: under 30s thread

Not bad @outlander
Watched soccer this morning. Nil all draw so wednesday is the next game, aus need to win if they wanna qualify for the world cup. I dont think we will because we are struggling a fair bit.

Went for coffee with dad to usual place. Now back home to chill before tonight.

Just remembered too that an old old old friend from high school is getting married today. Didnt get invited to the wedding. Wasnt shocked either because i left the church. I used to be heavily involved and very committed to the faith but then i lost it. It doesnt go down well when people are committed but then leave for good. You just become a memory.. sucks because my early adult life (18-20ish) was very much geared around chritianity. I am now atheist/agnostic(i use both terms). This of course doesnt go down well because they get taught that "rejecting god after accepting him is unforgiveable" which is a whole lot of nonsense in my mind.
But yeh. Another friend of mine went to the wedding today. He still struggles to move on. Religion iz not good in my opinion. (No offence if it is for you)

Re: under 30s thread

whens the next rematch @MDT i hope aus does win!

that sounds like a nice little outing with your dad. do you have a good relationship with him?

i dont have any opinions in regards to religion. if you have one then you have on, you dont then you dont. im not religious myself though. the only thing that im likeing is the serenity prayer pretty famous though.

what are you plans for the res tof the day? what time are you catching up with her?
