Re: under 30s thread

Yeah @Zoe7 I'm doing an apprenticeship in landscaping and construction which includes a Tafe/trade school component
I'm also trying to open my own business
What about you?

Re: under 30s thread

That is awesome @Former-Member - two things that I actually really love - landscaping and making stuff/construction/renovating

I am a teacher but have been off work for over a year now. I am bored out of my brain as I can't do anything - physically too unwell and it gets really depressing LOL

Re: under 30s thread

@Zoe7 i like it because it combines things like plants, garden care, turfing and all that stuff with construction stuff so fences, pergolas, decks, paving, heaps of stuff it's so cool. Part of my business if I get it going will be about planting and growing your own food and I will try to take this to schools etc because it's something I never had growing up and I would like please to know about eating well and how cheap it is plant your own food

Re: under 30s thread

OMG @Former-Member that is a fantastic goal to work towards. You could work with schools to design and construct a whole space for a garden and a relaxing place for students to sit. It would be awesome for students to be part of their own area - to be able to design something that was theirs - and you could help with that. Kids love that kind of thing. I am backing you 100% with that @Former-Member - so cool
