Hi @Former-Member
Sometimes it takes a while. Use your spirit .. the only "never" to use is
to NEVER GIVE UP working towards your goals.
I did not even know what was worthwhile in life to bother about wanting it.
I stick with needs until they are met then add wants.
I'm sure you'd rather the young lady to talk to than the old one ... lol ... @outlander is gorgeous and caring
but also struggling with her hands full.
WIsh it was a better world.![]()

That makes sense. @Former-Member
I dont mean you always have to put effort in.
Sometimes it is about accepting self worth, regardless of effort.

I have had a lot of restricted access to my immediate family members for all sorts of reasons. Its now a family pattern.
I am suffering with it now with my son.
In a way it simplifies your responsibilities, though, which is a good thing, as you have had to grow up too young and too quick. You are in a very tricky position.
Make the most of the access you get.
I used to visit my lil bro in Sydney when I was a teen and he lived with foster family and take him for ferry rides on the harbour. When he grew up we had family holidays together, even though we had only lived together 6 months as kids. We were put in care and separated I was 6, he was 6 months.
