I have my settings set to Friends Only, but I sometimes forget that if I comment on someone else's post this won't necessarily be private... (And I'm not sure if their friends can see comments they make on my page, or when someone tags me in their post - think it depends on the privacy settings - which FB keep changing & making very complicated!)

@Former-Member outside of forums and professional networking I do not connect with anyone online, the rare connection request I do get I ignore, even professional network I am very selective who I connect with (particually ignoring former collegues who caused me a geat deal of stress an anxiety)

@Former-Memberwell I don't use twitter or instagram, just facebook.
As a school teacher I am very weary of what I put on FB, my privacy settings and who I am friends with. It is not uncommon for a student to say they searched me up on facebook or for one to request friendship, which of course I do not accept. As I said before my friend list is small. My theory is if I wouldn't speak to them irl than I don't want them to see what I put on FB.

@Determined What I struggle with is when I do work (be that paid, volunteer or advocacy) in the mental health space, the lines between professional networking, mutual support and friendship can get a bit blurry.... Especially online...
