what a horrible day

I'd like to say it's the depression and anxiety @MDT,but I have felt like that all my life,I think it's due largely to my lack of confidence,and my self conscious as well.The depression and anxiety do play a huge part, depression makes you feel like you are Tom Hanks in Castaway and the anxiety affects your psychomotor skills ,which can make you feel useless.

As for being lonely ,make sure you connect with your family and good friends if you are fortunate to have them.I am dreading Xmas already in that regard,that's when I feel the loneliness the most and know I will be severely depressed.

I'm sorry to see you are having such a tough day. I can hear how much you are struggling with the sense that there's somehow something wrong with you because you don't have a girlfriend. I know there is nothing I can say that will help you to feel ok about this because it is super clear that you are really not ok with it. I am sad to hear how much you are struggling with it though.

Even though it super sucks that you don't have a girlfriend when you oh so badly want one, I am wondering if it really does logically follow that you will inevitably die alone? I could be wrong, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this might be what's called catastrophic thinking. I mean, you might die alone, but I'm not sure that it is inevitable based only on the fact that you don't have a girlfriend at the age of twenty-four. This doesn't change the fact that you are super struggling right now though and that really sucks. I'm glad you can talk it out here in Forum Land.
