@outlander I apologise on behalf of your mentor who let you down. The thing is we are not privy to what is happening inside peoples lives ... even in rl. I would guarantee you there would have been no ill will. Why would there you are a very nice person.

@outlanderI know it is hard hun, but you are not alone. You have all of us here to help you and support you thorough your difficult times. I know it is not the same as having someone irl supporting you, but I am not going to abandon you

It’s a feeling of shock @outlander, but that will soften again when the shock wears off. I had a rude shock like that from someone a few weeks ago now .... it left me shaken and tears for about a week .... but I am feeling okay enough about it now. That person doesn’t have our big picture, so they are not in a position to judge, although they think they are .... and I just have to keep waiting for it to sort itself out by degrees.

Just push that person back from you in your mind .... make space between you and them .... space to heal .... and quietly let them go. They may have been a mentor for you previously, but you have no use for them now, in the state they are in .... so it’s time to let them go. It happens, unfortunately .... but new people will come into your life Hon. You’re stepping around them, and moving forward .... with tears today, but not forever .....

@outlander You are a very efficient and caring individual who shows great empathy with people and animals. There is no way anyone would intentially want to hurt you. Without being there I would say it was purely a misunderstanding, a misinterrreptation of what was meant. Give it some time and then see what transpires.
