@outlander - that's a pretty high temp hun. I was in hospital last year after I had rigors at home (this is a sign of a struggle of the body to deal with a high temp- you probably already know that). I rang a nurse/medical helpline who confirmed my need for ED. I originally went in for abdo pain which they thought was appendicitis until I got tonsillitis 24hours later. My temp didn't come down from under 38 for 3 days. I felt really rubbish.

So many horrible bugs going on. Hopefully the pandaol takes away the fever and helps you sleep. I just had tonsillitis for a month straight. Well I would get better for a day then it come back with a vengeance the next day till the point they injected antibiotics and my butt was black and blue lol. Still sick with a cold and it's been two months. Bring on the warm weather and fresh air so we all feel better.

I spoke to gp about it. We know where the infection is and is at its peak now so the antibiotics have been started and the paracetamol brings it back down so for the next bit its management. She said if i start getting worse or temp doesnt drop within next 2 days ring tye office or go to ed. @Sans911 if it does get higher though will check into ed might mean that pain is an Infection of some sort. Ive now been awake for straight 24hrs. Im drifting but ehen i closr my eyes j hear music. Very weird and makes me jump
