Night Shift

Night Shift

Since I am awake at 4am I thought I'd start this thread for those of us who have trouble sleeping and might find it helpful to have a place to go to chat. Whatever gets you through the night is alright.

To get the ball rolling, I'll just say that I enjoyed being part of the Topic Tuesday discussion tonight. I wish it was possible for these events to be weekly rather than monthly. Either way, thanks SANE and all the people I've met on here over recent months.

Edited June 2016 and February 2017: Night Shift is now open 24 hours a day. To join in, just click through to the last page of the thread at the top right of this post to get to the latest message.

Edited April 2017 and June 2017: For the sake of better communications between members here, I am adding that this thread is meant to be a caring, kind and gentle place of sharing. Humour is welcome, as long as its not unkindly directed towards other members. Hope your time in this chat thread is rewarding.

@plasmo

There’s a new scheme thing in ndis where you can hire your own support workers iv hired a fairly paranoid looking man from Nepal to take me swimming, I think I’m the one who’s made him paranoid because when I met him I said,’ I’m very manipulative. I’ll find out something about you and twist it all around and sack you, “

I finally got branch off fence last night @plasmo . was easier than thought. people on other side had cut it off at fence ha ha . had been there for months , couple metres high, few metres long ok with fork in branches . could see it down my drive way . was expecting next door to say something, they didnt lol

gonna make a platform for cat put some cardboard on radiator on top of 2 tyres he thought it was bees knees , got rid of tyres tho. tried sittingit on somethingelse, it collapsed, cat got straight back on , but I didnt put it up again

got free wood as well, some still there today, the long bits , i could dropthing down on backseat to feed them through between front seats prob good for3metres, can t remember

Re: Night Shift

fair enough @plasmo thinking ladder to trim trees in driveway. should try and start chainsaw for fallen branch. never cut anything with it . bought it ., started it twice , then looked at it for 2years lol
