Night Shift

Since I am awake at 4am I thought I'd start this thread for those of us who have trouble sleeping and might find it helpful to have a place to go to chat. Whatever gets you through the night is alright.

To get the ball rolling, I'll just say that I enjoyed being part of the Topic Tuesday discussion tonight. I wish it was possible for these events to be weekly rather than monthly. Either way, thanks SANE and all the people I've met on here over recent months.

I sold my record player hand built oak or hatever record stand record cause broke.

@PeppyPatti We are so lucky to have one another here. I think many of us really value community and understand that we can celebrate all the good things and help one another carry things that are hurting us. It’s so good having people who really understand.

@Bill16 Hi Bill how are you? I know about retinitas pygmintosa, and am sorry to hear your sister has it too. My sight loss is because the back of my optic nerve is very damaged and it can’t be repaired. It can be very lonely being blind. Does your sister use a blind cane? I do use the blind cane but I also have a seeing guide dog. I used the blind cane for years before I decided to try a seeing guide dog. It’s really lovely to meet someone who has been around legally blind people.

hello @Cuddlebear i am fine thanks,yes my sister uses a cane and thinks she will get a dog soon,my sisters partner is totally blind from birth also,he has got two dogs,one just retired
