Night Shift

Night Shift

Since I am awake at 4am I thought I'd start this thread for those of us who have trouble sleeping and might find it helpful to have a place to go to chat. Whatever gets you through the night is alright.

To get the ball rolling, I'll just say that I enjoyed being part of the Topic Tuesday discussion tonight. I wish it was possible for these events to be weekly rather than monthly. Either way, thanks SANE and all the people I've met on here over recent months.

Edited June 2016 and February 2017: Night Shift is now open 24 hours a day. To join in, just click through to the last page of the thread at the top right of this post to get to the latest message.

Edited April 2017 and June 2017: For the sake of better communications between members here, I am adding that this thread is meant to be a caring, kind and gentle place of sharing. Humour is welcome, as long as its not unkindly directed towards other members. Hope your time in this chat thread is rewarding.

Dear @Mazarita

I guess, it's better out than in ...I feel it's really good to let out everything like; talking honestly about getting the creeps at night.

It's like a.......feminine feel is'nt it?

I'm sorry all but I'm being an incredibly good mother these days and driving my son to work every morning to get to work by 6am.. then doing a bit of work to save up to pay to see my therapist on 31 of May

So, for about 7 days, I won't be around as much.......

I must say though, we said to the son to not pay us anything but just be responsible and he is .......doing a great job at that......

He bought us and made us dinner tonight. ...

Probably a good idea to tell the Gp hey @Mazarita.... She might just talk about different ....types of what to do ??

Ille still be around...I need you all too much.....

Thinking about you @Former-Member

It's like......both my son's are coming closer to me hey.......My youngest son told my oldest son how cool my husband is and......he rang his phone to say hello to him before speaking to me. It's been bout 2-3 months since I last spoke to him.........

Night night, PP

Re: Night Shift

Hi @Former-Member, thanks, yes I am okay. Good to see you. How are you today?

Hi @Faith-and-Hope, you have a lovely avatar. Not sure we've directly chatted before but I've seen some of your posts. Just sending a friendly greeting.

Hi @PeppiPatty, that's fine about you needing to take a bit of a break from here. We can't always be online and I'm sure everyone understands that. I'm probably more likely to tell the psychiatrist about the creeps at night I get occasionally when I see him next, and perhaps my psychologist. The GP is only minimally involved in my mental health really. I see her more as a point of referral to other specialists and to deal with the various physical health issues that arise with me related to crohns disease, menopause and other things. How great that your son and bought and made dinner tonight. You are good to get him to work by 6am. Best of luck with the work and psychotherapist.

Re: Night Shift

Slept a bit @Mazarita but this is the 3rd time I've been up. Getting bad cramps in my ankles that wake me up. How about you, how's your night going?

Re: Night Shift

Wow, third time up, @eth. Glad you get to nap during the days to catch up. Sorry about the cramps. I get them sometimes too. I've had about 3-4 hours.
