Another intense day on the creative projects here. In between sessions a long nap to catch up on some of the sleep I missed in the middle of last night. It's also 13 years today since partner and I got together, and we had a little home celebration. We already went out last week for an anniversary meal and a movie (first one in a cinema for at least 8 years I reckon). Eddie and the Eagle, pretty ordinary I thought but we just enjoyed getting out together like that, something we do almost never.
@Shaz51, I really wish the mental health people would ring back, sounds like your husband is in a bit of strife at the moment. That's got to be hard on you too, let alone the other $$$ stuff. Hugs to you!
@Silenus, welcome to the 24 hour night shift, glad to see you here. Magpie warbles and butcher bird songs are the best and I like talking with birds too. Prior to living here, we used to live on a headland, our place backed onto a small national park. The butchies used to come inside the flat and hop around when we opened the door sometimes. Also love the currawong calls, especially at dusk, and even the crows. Where we are now, not so many birds. But there is one currawong that likes to sit on our back fence and the rainbow parakeets are around too. Thanks for the heads up on the meteor showers. If I'm up then again tomorrow morning, will look out for them. The Pilish writing project sounds amazing! Hope you share some of it with us here when you're ready. Dig your beaming hugs! 🙂
@Former-Member, thanks for responding about the melatonin. Yes, I will give it a shot when I get to the chemist next, probably tomorrow after my dentist appointment (broken back tooth). Good luck with yours, hope neither of us loses one. Namaste.
@eth, excited that you wrote a new poem! Beats looking back on old stuff hands down I think. And it's another poem I like, thanks for sharing, looking forward to more.
@Jacques, what a bunch we are eh? Broken teeth, broken cars. Yet, still keeping on with it, with a little help from our friends. It's a warm feeling knowing you read the posts. As is often the case, you go over and above with caring for us here. I am missing @Appleblossom in the night shift - the forum overall is so busy these days it's hard to keep up and I'm only getting notifications if I'm specifically tagged. Very good to hear she is in a joyful space.
@PeppiPatty, hiya, just giving a shoutout, no need to reply if you are feeling tired. Just letting you know I'm thinking of you.
@Decadian, @MoonGal, and anyone else I've missed, hope the evening treats you well.
