It will for a while @Appleblossom. It's the way of grief. On the weekend I cried for my Mum. I was in so much discomfort and I just wanted my Mum. Thinking of you lass. ❤

Resilience doesn't stop us from falling in a heap but it is what helps us to get up and try again.

It's so good to see you ..... I miss you being here more, but I understand .....

How many weeks left of school ? Do you think maybe on the Christmas break you could consider seeking support again ? It's hard when you're running tired and have no energy for anything else beyond the basics.

There is a dx for some of the issues on our front .... identified in one but not yet confirmed in the other. That will have to happen through someone else. Any progress is better than none, and at least I have some understanding of what has up-ended us ..... we are going to be under support for quite some time I think .....

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope sorry for typos above, my phone is so annoying to write messages on. I'm glad you are getting some more understanding of your situation and hope that the right people aren't far away to keep things moving for you all.
I just can not sleep at the moment. Even though I'm exhausted. There isn't anyone else here who I can see for me, three are skype options but I can't handle that or manage it. Missing my psychologist so much and she's only just left recently.

there's a town where there is someone but that is 100km away or another that is a bit further than that in the other direction. but then i'd have no child care in those places or would have to take whole days off of work to get there and back while kids are at school to do regularly. feeling really trapped and just focussing on getting through these last few weeks. Son has appt this week that im really nervous about. and i have a new boss at work that is coming in to meet us today. i ended up getting 4 hrs sleep last night which is my usual amount at the moment. hope you have a nice day @Faith-and-Hope, sending hugs to all.

I am glad for the four hours sleep for you @Former-Member ..... it's subsistence sleep, but that is something at least ...... if you can take time on Chair Island to breathe deeply for a while, that will help too.

Maybe you can do the 100km trips during school holidays ? And maybe the counsellor will accept email contact in between ?

Keep trying to look after you .... you matter ......

I had a good day at work today. I got some fabulous feedback on the work I've been doing which is nice. I've put in a lot of hours and effort on this one. Very unpleasant subject matter but extremely important.

I am truly blessed considering the beautiful people I am currently working with. I'm just hoping I don't get deployed anywhere else for a long while!

How's everyone going? Sounds promising F&H. No matter what the dx, something is better than nothing.
