hi my dear friend @PeppiPatty,
I am very new to relationships, but i learned from SANE to set clear boundaries and communicate, and as many of my forum friends have told me set some time aside for me. i know how hard it is supporting someone you love, and i know you want to care for them unconditionally.
have you thought about respite for yourself, get someone in to help him so you can get a little break every now and again.
@PeppiPatty you are not superwoman, no woman is, we can only do what we can do, and we all need soem time off to recharge the batteries, i know when i was looking after my dad, it is so exhausting being a 24/7 carer and i found over time i became less affective as a carer because of the exhaustion. take some time out for you. even something as simple as a bath, get your hair and nails done, go shopping or watch a movie at the cinema.
hugs my friend. you are always in my thoughts.
Jacques
