wow, you do know what its like 😄 my lil boy has sensory processing disorder and some other difficulties. He doesnt get how other people might feel or think about things, but he's very sweet and affectionate too. one on one with adults he's amazing but with other kids he struggles...
i can't imagine having six kids now, but i always dreamed i'd have a big family and would have liked to have more if things were different...
11 years old... that must have been so tough!

That sounds really hard poor lil man it's not easy to have a disability especially these days when everything is so expensive and very hard to get the help though schools and agency. What sort of help do you receive for you to cope?
I am recovering from my child abuse I ran away at eight years old and i lived on the street until I was sixteen years old by then I had three kids I didn't plan on having that many the doctor didn't put me on the pill because they said I couldn't have any children I think I proved them wrong six times.

i have a psychologist who is great @jade1 - im lucky to have her. I did have support workers but they felt i was doing well and that i didnt need their support because they wanted to do more than just talk with me. I live in the country so i have a psychiatrist who visits the region every 3/4 months but his latest visit was just cancelled and moved back again which is ok because i dont feel as though i get anything out of seeing him.
You definitely proved the dr wrong! I went through a lot of abuse as a kid/married abusive man. its hard to move past the difficulties that that has left me with... but life does keep going...
i am so tired, am about to try and sleep, look forward to catching up again soon 🙂 take care

We love our kids unconditional but it's very exhausting we take on the world and break from the inside and all you want to do fix what's broken and we can't and make their world better. And yes I do understand alot of what you are going though I just wish I lived closer to you so we can help each other cause you are the first real person I have shared anything with that's not are professional like counsellor . We have so much in common we have gone though child abuse, violent marriage, kids with disability's and mental health issue so I feel connected to you though our similar journey.
I wish i could do more to help you but i am trurelly here for you even if you just need someone rave on abit it can some times help I did alot of that when my kids where growing. When they were having their bads days it affected me alot I need someone to let it out without the consequence of been judged people who don't have these problems have no idea what it's like.
My day was okay looking at rental properties mostly way to expensive I am looking at 300.00 aweek in which I can't afford it's alot of money. I know there's are solution out there but i haven't found one jet.

Hi @jade1 - i struggled a lot yesterday being a sook. and didnt get back here because i just had no words!
Taking on the world is what it feels like when it comes to our kids and trying to work out how to support them. I don't believe in changing the world to suit the child's difficulties because the world is the way it is, and im more about trying to teach kids/my lil fella ways to cope and manage in the world as it is while supporting their own uniqueness... up to a certain point anyway. its hard to balance out...

No your not being a sook you feel and you have empathy and understand and understand pain you being human so don't ever apologise for being you they are good qualities to have it will rub of to your kids that's why your little man has great empathy skills you showed him that you are their teacher.live by example.
No can't change world but you show your kids how to love and naturer them selves because if they love them selves no-one will be able hurt them and I think your little boy will be okay in the world his got very special tool and that is you a mothers love dose so much more to a child confidence.
One day the world will change. people are learning to speak up for their rights to be heard.
All you have to do is love your children and very thing will sort its self out beleive me on this.
Have faith in your ability to love your self it will to teach your children how to love selves.by taking on to much you will do the exact opposite of what you a trying to achieve don't become a robot. learn to have fun learn laugh learn to be kid for the first time give yourself self permission.
Lots of hugs you are doing okay 😊😊😊
